Games List
This is the Legend game development page. Currently i have only completed three games, each during my final two years at The University of Bolton. The games all run on a standard PC although Goal Keeper Challenge and 3D Tic require any good 3D Card to run.
Goal Keeper Challenge
Goal Keeper Challenge is a football game where the player can use either the keyboard or a dance mat to control a goal keeper. 3D Tic
3D Tic is a 3 dimentional game based on the popular tic tac toe game. with the added game boards its all about planning attacks and a skilled defence. The game was created from scratch using Visual C++, Direct X input and Open GL

Working for as a Game Developer To give students a feel of what it is like working in a computer games development company the University of Bolton invited representatives from an international firm to give a presentation. The guest speakers were from Evolution studios, who work with Sony computing entertainment Europe and have developed great games like WRC Fia World Rally Championship. |

Game Publishing Jobs To give students a feel of what it is like working in a computer games publishing company the University of Bolton invited a former Midas (a games publishing company) employee who has enjoyed both the success and the failures working in games publishing. His biggest success was a girls horse riding game, his biggest failure was a rugby management game which was set to fail from the early planning stage and cost him is job. |
The PSP Homebrew Scene To Come...
Few people know how easy it is to create and transfer your own homebrew games from your PC to a PSP system. With the recently released SDK (development kit) and the links on these pages it won't take you long to be an active PSP developer. As well as creating your own games you are also able to download other homebrew developers' games for free and test them on your PSP. |

The BBC Report on UK Gamers BBC Creative Research and Development released a stellar research report on gamers from 6 - 65. It looks at how people play, what they play, why they play, and more. Amazingly the BBC report shows the gender split between gamers is fairly even across all age groups. But i question the legitimacy of this report as the BBC defined a gamer as anyone who has played a game within the prior six months. |
